Meetings etc.
In 2021, due to the Covid 19 pandemic our club was on hold, with no member meetings , lunches, outings or trips. Members were not charged dues during this time.
We are now pleased to begin meetings and outings in person once again, and our club can now continue our activities that are so enjoyed by our members. Our new executive board will continue to meet via Zoom, planning new activities and events as life returns to normal. Dues are now being collected so that we may begin budgeting expenses for the next year.
We will inform you, our members of our progress and look forward to seeing everyone again. Keep an eye out in your monthly bulletin for upcoming events in the fall!
Our club is active from the months of October through June, providing 9 months of meetings and outings. This allows our members to have the summer off.
As a member you are entitled to attend any of our day trips. Just sign up at the lunch meeting or call the trip organizer. The trips are fun and provide the opportunity to meet with fellow members and form friendships and also learn something about our wonderful community with its varied history.
We also ask our members to consider joining a committee, providing members the opportunity to work with other members in areas of our club that interest them. Working with your fellow members builds close friendships and camaraderie.
